Districts and their specialties
Here are the shopping areas, malls, streets and their specialties (this section is under construction):
- St-Denis street north of Roy for books (new), and decorative objects, local fashion designers, etc.
- St-Laurent blvd. north of Shebrooke street for books (used and new), sewing materials, etc and south of Sherbrooke for army supply stores.
- Mont-Royal ave. between St-Denis street and St-Laurent blvd. for used and recycled clothes.
- Mont-royal for used records and cds, books.
- Ste-Catherine street west downtown for jeans, shoes, clothes (GAP, Roots, Le Chateau, etc), cheap souvenirs, sports clothes, new CDs (HMV, Music World, Archambault, etc).
- St-Hubert plaza for shoes and for mid-range and low-range shops.
- Sherbrooke street west for high-end clothes, art galleries.
- Notre-dame street west for antiques.
- du Parc ave. between Mont-Royal ave. and St-Viateur for persian carpets
